Made in collaboration with Malte Klagenberg and shown at Kunstschlager in Reykjavík, 2013, Searching for the Golden Fox revolves around a small team of scientists doing Big Science. Their research project is quite revolutionary: They have artificially created an animal, the golden fox, which has the unique ability of being able to transform into anything whatsoever. This makes for an extremely useful animal; any kind of problem could be solved by having the golden fox transform into the proper solution. However, the scientists have a problem of their own: They have lost the golden fox! And, of course, because of its ability, it is rather difficult to find...

The exhibition showed the above video presentation of the scientists’ current situation, along with the only existing photograph of the golden fox (in which it may have assumed the form of a coffee cup), and finally a handout that volunteers could use as an instrument for finding the golden fox (the handout had, among other features, specialized “Search holes” for precise observation).
